    최근 급격한 발전을 이룬 공간 전사체 기법은 조직을 이루는 세포에 대한 매우 광범위한 정보를 제공해 준다. 공간 멀티오믹스 연구실에서는 기존의 기술로는 검출이 어렵거나 불가능한 다양한 생물학적 대상을 차세대 염기분석기 혹은 형광 이미징 기법을 이용하여 측정하는 방법을 새로이 개발하는 연구를 수행한다. 특히 새로운 단일 세포 및 공간 전사체 혹은 다양한 멀티오믹스의 분석법을 개발하여 임상 조직에서 발견되는 세포 및 분자적 이형성 및 병리적 세포구조를 발견, 이해하려고 한다. 또한 새로운 조직 팽창기법을 이용한 초고해상도 이미징을 통해 시냅스 단백질이 이루는 나노클러스터 구조를 이해하고자 하며 항체 접합물, AI-기반 항체/단백질 설계를 통해 차세대 공간 멀티오믹스 기술을 개발하고자 한다.

    Recent rapid advancements in spatial transcriptomics techniques have provided extensive information about the cyto-architecture of tissue. The Spatial Multi-omics Laboratory conducts research to develop new methods for measuring various biomolecules that are difficult or impossible to detect with existing technologies, using next-generation sequencing or fluorescence imaging techniques. In particular, we aim to develop new single-cell and spatial transcriptomics or various multi-omics analysis methods to discover and understand cellular and molecular heterogeneity and pathological cell structures found in clinical tissues. Additionally, we seek to understand the nanocluster structure formed by synaptic proteins through super-resolution imaging using new tissue expansion techniques, and to develop next-generation spatial multi-omics technologies through antibody conjugates and AI-based antibody/protein design.
